The bacteria discovered by a man named Theodor Escherich can be found in the human colon.
And most E. coli are harmless, but some like E. Coli type O157: H7, can cause bad things like serious food poisoning in humans. So it can cause diarrhea.
One source of this bacteria that is like the meat that has not been cooked, for example hamburger meat that has not been cooked.
